Dr. Bernadette (Bee) Maunick

Clinical Psychology Registrar

BA, GradD, DPsych (Clinical)

At BCM Psychology in Melbourne, I offer a compassionate, client-centred approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative—ensuring that your goals, needs, and values guide the direction of our work together.

I draw primarily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, while also integrating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to best suit your individual needs. Together, we’ll explore how your past shapes your present, and work on building emotional awareness, resilience, and coping skills to support lasting change.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both public and private mental health settings. I am passionate about supporting people with anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, neurodivergence (including autism and ADHD), perfectionism, burnout, low self-worth, and relationship or identity-related challenges.

As an inclusive practitioner, I am committed to creating an affirming space for people from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. If you're considering therapy, I welcome you to reach out—I’d be happy to speak with you about how we can work together.
